It tells the story of an alcoholic, gambling-addicted police officer forced to raise her grandson after her daughter abandons him.
Winner of multiple awards, including the FIPRESCI International Critics' Prize at the Montreal World Film Festival (2015) and Best Fiction Feature at the Festival de Las Américas (2016), it was also selected to represent Peru at the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
