A hilarious play that strings together misunderstandings, cons, and hidden secrets. It recounts the escapades surrounding the theft of a valuable 17th-century painting belonging to a marquise, and guarded by a strict police inspector.
It is currently in its second successful season in Lima, and boasts a stellar cast: Hugo Salazar, Lía Camilo, Pedro Olórtegui, and Bañuelos himself, who plays Padre Julián, a singular priest who conceals the tricks of a daring gentleman thief.
