Raúl Bastante Davelouis

Raúl Bastante Davelouis is a versatile Peruvian screenwriter and designer with an extensive career. A graduate of Universidad de Lima, he made his name in the television industry as a writer for the hit series «Casado con mi hermano».

His versatility has allowed him to blend storytelling with visual language, standing out as creative director at advertising agencies, art director at a virtual community group, and design strategist at technology and entertainment firms such as AlivePixel Inc.

By Asier Andueza, a free adaptation of "Como quien le pide sal al vecino". It follows the hilarious encounter between two neighbours who, after a seemingly everyday request, end up tangled in a web of uncomfortable truths and absurd situations. Carlos Bañuelos brought the essence of Spanish micro-theatre to rewrite, direct and star in the piece, which became the circuit's favourite, beating 14 other productions to win Best Staging of the season.
